Dr. Gabreski graduated with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry and completed a residency program at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. His residency focused on medically indicated and specialty contact lenses for a myriad of corneal diseases, injuries, and degenerations. Dr. Gabreski strives to stay on the forefront of optometric medicine and advanced optics and has shown this dedication by earning his status as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Gabreski practices comprehensive optometry with a strong emphasis on patient education and disease prevention. He believes preventative care is the best medicine and the ultimate way to maintain quality vision and healthy eyes. From routine health checks to the management of advanced eye disease, Dr. Gabreski is able to manage, treat, and educate patients on all aspects of the eye and its associated conditions.
Dr. Gabreski has a beautiful wife and young son, and has fallen in love with Alaska and the Fairbanks way of life. In his spare time he enjoys all Alaska has to offer, from cutting firewood to fishing the Chena. He is an avid woodworker and would love to talk sawdust (and eye protection) with anyone who shares similar passions.
